The Ming Tomb and The Great Wall
Today we took a tour to the Ming Tomb and the great wall. It was an all day affair. We got to experience lots of Be!j!ng traffic and local neighborhoods. The tomb was cool, but nothing compares to the Great Wall. You drive about an hour and a half out of the city. Then (and nobody told me this part) you take a cable car up to the mountainside where the Wall is. Then you climb and climb and climb. It was raining today so the pictures didn't turn out great, but I included a few.

Sorry I forgot about the cable car. Doug and I have the same picture of the 2 of us on the Great Wall, must be the "American" thing to do. LOL! I am glad you got out and about a saw the wall. I did not get to see the tomb when I was there. Rest up...soon you will be a complete family of 3!!!
