Countries

My mom asked how many countries I'd been to the other day. I just added it up and with this China trip, I think technically it will be 10 by the end of our trip this month.

I say technically because three of those countries were just layovers and I only saw (or will see) the airport. Those three countries are The Neth@rlands, S0uth Kor@a and Cape Verde, home of the famous Isle de Sal (a refueling layover for S0uth Afr1can Airlines because they were not allowed to fly over some of the Black governed countries within Afri@a. Also known for lack of toilet seats in the airport restrooms.)

I hope to add an 11th to the list this summer by fulfilling my lifelong dream of visiting our neighbor to the North. Our cabin is within a few miles of C@n@da, and I've actually looked out over it a few times, but I have never actually been there. Sadly, when I get there, it will be to Thunder Bay, not Montreal...

A final note - you may have noticed how I cleverly obscured the names of the above countries. You may also have picked up that I never mention the name of our destination country. I'm hoping to blog from said country, within which, there is no right to free speech. I'm trying to fly under their radar.
