Today we took the passport trip

In Henan province you need to go to your child's city to apply for his or her passport.  In baby Paul's case this is Shanqiu, on the other side of Henan.  It was 2.5 hours each way and a 20 minute appointment.  Shanqiu is an interesting city though.  It's very much a bustling Chinese city with lots of street vendors and people everywhere.  I very much enjoyed seeing it.  I took a video, but it won't let me post it here.

After the whole morning spent in the car (thank you Grabers for the use of the fake iPad- it was a lifesaver!), we walked around the grounds of the hotel complex and played for a while.  The. We played with the other families on our floor out by the elevators.  We are with such a nice group, it's great to have a bunch of friends here!

And the boys took a bath.  Does this scene look familiar to anyone?

And some more random pictures

And, of course, Flat Stanley.  Lien kids, do you know what plant flat Stanley is hanging out on?
