I suppose having traveled to four cities does not make us experienced China travelers, but I still think this city is the best. It doesn't hurt that we are staying in an awesome hotel, had our own personal tour guide (our new friend Mary Ann), and came back to hang out in the executive lounge. But seriously, this city is awesome. It has a different vibe than the other places we've been. The skyscrapers are enormous. There is a lot of green space in this part of town. Traffic doesn't seem so bad, but then again, it's Saturday. I guess today was a work day though. We just came off a seven day holiday, so they had to make up two days of work.
We got a tour of a special place this morning. Then we walked by the river, saw The Bund, had "soup dumplings" and played pirates in a private park. Our friend Mary Ann was awesome and tireless, squiring us about the city.
I'll be sad to see this city go, but we leave bright and early tomorrow for Zhengzhou, Henan. The following day we meet our boy!
